Sheldon Public Library is seeking an enthusiastic and creative full-time Children’s Librarian to join our team. This role focuses on developing and leading children’s programming, fostering a love of reading, and engaging families in our community. Responsibilities include planning and presenting story times and activities, assisting with collection development for children’s materials, and supporting a welcoming environment for young readers and their families.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about literacy and youth services, enjoy working with children of all ages, and bring energy and creativity to library programming.
This is a full time exempt (salaried) position, and the range is up to $40,000 depending on experience and qualifications. The City of Sheldon / Sheldon Public Library offers a competitive benefits package.
