Household Hazardous Materials trailer

The Sheldon Fire Company will again be hosting the Household Hazardous Materials Trailer in September. The time has been set for Tuesday, September 24 from 3 – 6 pm at the south end of the Community Services Center parking lot, just north of the Library. This is free and is for non-commercial use only. We welcome out of town residents as well since the Sheldon Fire Co serves the 4 area townships too. Most of these toxic substances are flammable and getting this stuff out of your home or garage is a good idea.

Note there is a small charge for latex paint items. Note that latex paint can be dried out and dumped in regular garbage too.

Yes, you may bring old batteries too - IE rechargeable batteries and car / lawnmower batteries.
